San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie’s former Pacific Heights home is being sold with an asking price of just under $3.8 million

80 Wilmot Street Hits the Market

Details

The property at 80 Wilmot St. was built in 1994 and designed by the late Richard Brayton, a prominent interior designer. He said in 1996 that the home’s facade, with its asymmetrical grid of warehouse windows, was inspired by the famed designer Le Corbusier. A metal staircase extends from the entrance through the entire house, below a skylight that spans the ceiling.

“It was designed to bring in an abundance of natural light,” said Jennifer Glassman of Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the property’s listing agents. It has already drawn strong interest, with 43 groups touring it on Tuesday.

Lurie bought the home from Brayton and then sold it in 2019 to current owner Jan Zivic, daughter of boxing champion Fritzie Zivic, for around $3.7 million. Lurie now lives elsewhere in Pacific Heights.

The three-floor, 2,875-square-foot home is just off of Fillmore Street, the neighborhood’s retail and restaurant corridor.

The Real Deal first reported the listing.

The property’s brokers attribute the interest to the lack of for-sale inventory in the area, as well as an improving mood throughout the city, in part credited to the mayor.

What We Can Expect

“I think there’s a real optimism. People are generally in favor of Daniel Lurie,” said Marcia Skall of Sotheby’s, another listing agent. “People talk very enthusiastically and positively about him and the things he’s trying to accomplish.”

The property also stands out for being modernist. “Just about every home in that neighborhood is a Victorian. This is a newer build,” Skall said.

“The San Francisco housing market is strengthening; interest rates have come down slightly, and the artificial intelligence boom is generating more demand.” She added.

Sales in the city were up 5% between January and July, compared to 2024, according to data from Redfin.
