A festive Japanese-style New Year’s Day event in Sausalito is set to include live taiko drumming from Sonoma
County Taiko, music from ‘Til Dawn a capella choir, a traditional sake barrel breaking ceremony, drinks,
and traditional Japanese holiday treats.

A new 14-unit bayside condo project at 25 Loch Lomond Drive in San Rafael has been approved by the city Planning
Commission. Clearing the way for developer Andy Bachich, owner of Andy's Market, to build a three-story residential
building after a prior mixed-use proposal proved financially unfeasible, and reflecting renewed momentum to add housing near Loch Lomond Marina.
